Welcome to the online home of the
Saskatoon Heli Annual Gathering

- - - 2013 - - -

Plans are under way for the nineth annual Saskatoon Heli Annual Gathering. This event will be held on the first weekend in June at the HCRCC field.

Our goal is to get as much of the heli community out of hibernation, and ready for the summer. This is a non-competitive event geared towards promoting our hobby, friendship, and fun. This is a great event for newcomers to the R/C Helicopter Hobby, to learn, get assistance, or just see a wide variety of equipment and talent. Talent is by no means a requirement. We encourage those just starting, or those that have been out of flying for a while, to pack up your helis and head to SHAG. There will be experienced pilots onsite to help you with setup, tips on hovering, forward flight, and more.
Whether you fly nitro birds, or electrics, there will be something for you at SHAG.

Pilot registration will be $15. For lunch on Sat. and Sun., the world famous HCRCC burgers will be available from the club's concession as well as drinks, etc.

Fri. noon until dark - HCRCC field gate will be opened by noon if you want to do any fine tuning before the official start. The field is still open for all HCRCC members until Sat., so be sure to use the frequency board. You can use the stub runways at either end for takeoff, hovering, and landing if there are planes in the air. Absolutely NO 3D flight allowed in the stub areas.

Sat. 8:30a - 9a - Set-up, Registration and the Pilot's meeting

Sat. 9a - Open flying, night flying after dark.

Sun. 9a - 12p - Open flying.

Sun. 12p - Door prize draws and lunch.

Sun. 1p - 5p - Open flying.
